The Temple Chapel of St. Nicholas on the Black Sea

The Temple-Chapel of St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, the patron and defender of fishermen and sailors is very unusual, because it is built in the form of a triangle. It is located on the Black Sea coast, on the edge of Cape Tarhankut. There are reliefs in the form of ropes and anchors on the walls of the Temple, and inside the walls are painted with frescoes. Saint Nicholas the Wonderworker is depicted on the doors of the Temple-chapel.

Behind the Temple, a steep staircase leads down to the arch of the Great Atlesh, leading to a giant artificial cave.
