\nThe Ethnic Park is located in the Old Town in Shymkent. The “residents” of the village live here from early spring to autumn from Tuesday to Sunday to demonstrate to the guests all the colorful and unique way of life and traditions of the Kazakhs. In order to feel like a real oriental bazaar, go to the part of the town where souvenirs and various handmade crafts with national ornaments are sold. In five yurts installed on the territory of the complex, you can see how the nomads equipped their homes. As in other ethnic villages scattered across Kazakhstan, here you can shoot a bow or swing on the traditional swing – Alty-bakan. Fairs are often organized here, cartoons are shown for little ones in the open air.
